Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Angel Espoy was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,645.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angel Espoy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies and Eucalyptus, which sold at auction in June 2002 for USD 10,157.50 (€ 10,305.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Angel Espoy kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.645,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Angel Espoy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies and Eucalyptus beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für USD 10.157,50 (€ 10.305,91) versteigert wurde.
