Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Desnudo) by Ángel Botello for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,472.52). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ángel Botello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Niña durmiendo in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 397,000.00 (€ 270,288.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Desnudo) von Ángel Botello für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.472,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ángel Botello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Niña durmiendo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 397.000,00 (€ 270.288,67).
