Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Manos cruzadas by Ángel Botello was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in July 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,286.58), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ángel Botello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Niña durmiendo in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 397,000.00 (€ 270,288.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Manos cruzadas von Ángel Botello wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.286,58) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ángel Botello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Niña durmiendo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 397.000,00 (€ 270.288,67).
