This artwork by Andries Cornelis Lens achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. In the Old Master Pictures and Drawings auction, the work Amor And Psyche sold for EUR 12,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Andries Cornelis Lens; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Moïse Sauvé Des Eaux sold at auction in April 2014 with the realized price of EUR 15,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Andries Cornelis Lens erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Pictures and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Amor And Psyche für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Andries Cornelis Lens; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Moïse Sauvé Des Eaux im April 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 15.000,00.
