Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Daydreaming: Photographs from the Goldstein Collection, which included the work The Yellow Porch, Sheridan County, NE., 2013 by Andrew Moore. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,087.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Moore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Rouge from Detroit Disassembled, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 62,315.38).
