Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2013 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Sébastien et Nancy de la Selle, which included the work Sans Titre by Andrew Mansfield. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Mansfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled No. 441, which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,840.12).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Sébastien et Nancy de la Selle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Andrew Mansfield zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Mansfield mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled No. 441 beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.840,12) versteigert wurde.
