In September 2007 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures, which included the work The shady side, near the Hendry, Monmouthshire by Andrew MacCallum. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,603.56) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Andrew MacCallum have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2003 the work Twilight, Burnham Beeches was auctioned for GBP 6,572.50 (€ 9,434.92).
