Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Woodhall Spa by Andrew Johnson for GBP 500.00 (€ 583.70). This price was achieved in the auction Travel and Vintage Posters at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work North Berwick in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,858.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woodhall Spa von Andrew Johnson für GBP 500,00 (€ 583,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrew Johnson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit North Berwick im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.858,86).
