A top price for Andrew Johnson - as previously expected
The work North Berwick by Andrew Johnson was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,858.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, North Berwick is the most expensive artwork by Andrew Johnson that we have observed at auctions so far.
