Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Tree by Andrew Dasburg. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,186.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Dasburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 220,789.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tree von Andrew Dasburg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.186,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrew Dasburg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 220.789,54).
