Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piñon pine (Taos Mountains) by Andrew Dasburg was sold in the The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 12,750.00 (€ 11,265.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Dasburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 220,789.54).
