Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Roman triumph by Andrew Carrick Gow was sold in the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction at Bonhams in New York in September this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 19,200.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Carrick Gow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Washington'S Farewell To The Army, which sold at auction in April 2004 for USD 95,600.00 (€ 48,405.06).

Die Arbeit A Roman triumph von Andrew Carrick Gow wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 19.200,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
