Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Scenery with horse-drawn sleigh in the snow by Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,800.00 (€ 375.17). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Landscape in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Scenery with horse-drawn sleigh in the snow von Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.800,00 (€ 375,17) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Landscape im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.626,78).
