The work The thaw by Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov was sold in the The Russian Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,565.66), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winter Landscape in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The thaw von Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.565,66) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Winter Landscape im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.626,78).
