Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piz Margna, Engadin, 2018 by Andreas Rickenbacher was sold in the Swiss Art/Swiss Made auction at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2018. It changed hands for a price of CHF 8,750.00 (€ 7,551.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CHF 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andreas Rickenbacher - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lichtspiel, 2013 Play Of Light, 2013, which sold at auction in June 2013 for CHF 23,750.00 (€ 19,317.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Piz Margna, Engadin, 2018 von Andreas Rickenbacher wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Swiss Art/Swiss Made bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CHF 8.750,00 (€ 7.551,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andreas Rickenbacher mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lichtspiel, 2013 Play Of Light, 2013 beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für CHF 23.750,00 (€ 19.317,64) versteigert wurde.
