A 20th Century Escape auction, the work Dark desires series sold for EUR 8,125.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andy Hope 1930 have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hollywood On The Moon in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,401.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andy Hope 1930 erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape wurde die Arbeit Dark desires series für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andy Hope 1930 auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hollywood On The Moon im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.401,73).
