Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 1979 by Andreas Brandt was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,275.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Andreas Brandt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Schwarz und Hellblau“. in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 10,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1979 von Andreas Brandt wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.275,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andreas Brandt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Schwarz und Hellblau“. im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.625,00.
