Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An Ornamental Fountain With Parrots, Ducks, A Turkey, Falcon And Other Birds Together With Two Tortoises, An Extensive Landscape Beyond by Andrea Scacciati. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 42,050.00 (€ 53,560.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Andrea Scacciati have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2010 the work Parrot tulips, hydrangeas, carnations and other flowers in an urn with a parrot holding an earring in its beak on a ledge was auctioned for GBP 79,250.00 (€ 91,376.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Ornamental Fountain With Parrots, Ducks, A Turkey, Falcon And Other Birds Together With Two Tortoises, An Extensive Landscape Beyond von Andrea Scacciati zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 42.050,00 (€ 53.560,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Andrea Scacciati konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2010 die Arbeit Parrot tulips, hydrangeas, carnations and other flowers in an urn with a parrot holding an earring in its beak on a ledge für GBP 79.250,00 (€ 91.376,49) versteigert.
