Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Andrew by Andrea Sacchi was sold in the Old Master Paintings Evening auction at Sothebys in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 288,000.00 (€ 427,746.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Andrea Sacchi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2019 the work An Allegory Of Rome was auctioned for GBP 447,000.00 (€ 490,776.28).
