Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Studies Of A Flayed Male Nude, After Pietro Francavilla by Andrea Boscoli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,519.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrea Boscoli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Triumphal Procession Of Bacchus, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,215.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.519,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrea Boscoli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Triumphal Procession Of Bacchus beobachtet, die im Januar 2015 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.215,23) versteigert wurde.
