Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Judith preparing to visit Holofernes in his tent by Andrea Boscoli was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,752.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrea Boscoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Triumphal Procession Of Bacchus in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,215.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.752,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrea Boscoli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Triumphal Procession Of Bacchus im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.215,23).
