Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by André Saraiva was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 5,100.00 (€ 663.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Saraiva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chadoks Contre Les Smurfes - 1991 - 1992 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 16,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von André Saraiva kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 5.100,00 (€ 663,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Saraiva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chadoks Contre Les Smurfes - 1991 - 1992 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.900,00.
