Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Dream Concert - 2013 by André Saraiva was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 390.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Saraiva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chadoks Contre Les Smurfes - 1991 - 1992 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 16,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Dream Concert - 2013 von André Saraiva im Mai 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 390,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Saraiva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chadoks Contre Les Smurfes - 1991 - 1992 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.900,00.
