In June 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by André Volten. The result of EUR 2,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by André Volten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Untitled in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 19,950.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von André Volten zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Volten auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Untitled im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.950,00.
