Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Muraal by André Volten. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by André Volten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Untitled in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 19,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muraal von André Volten zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Volten auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Untitled im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.950,00.
