A top price for André Planson - as previously expected
In September 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work La Baignade by André Planson. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,950.00 (€ 9,623.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Baignade is the most expensive artwork by André Planson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Baignade von André Planson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.950,00 (€ 9.623,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La Baignade das teuerste Kunstwerk von André Planson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
