This artwork by André Marchand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2012. In the Modern Art auction, the work L'Arene A L'Ombre, Arles sold for EUR 2,960.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by André Marchand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'otage in September 2010 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 97 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Marchand erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit L'Arene A L'Ombre, Arles für EUR 2.960,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Marchand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'otage im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
