Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Pentecôte À Honfleur - Circa 1960 by André Hambourg was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,936.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Hambourg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Première de planches à voile dans l'estuaire de la Touques in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,164.27).

Die Arbeit La Pentecôte À Honfleur - Circa 1960 von André Hambourg kam im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.936,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Hambourg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Première de planches à voile dans l'estuaire de la Touques im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.164,27).
