Upper estimate price exceeded by 47 %.
In October 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Past/Forward - Part II, which included the work Composition by André Gustave Beaudin. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,764.00 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Gustave Beaudin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Oiseaux Marins, 1963 in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 28,315.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Past/Forward - Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von André Gustave Beaudin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.764,00 und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Gustave Beaudin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Oiseaux Marins, 1963 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.315,00.
