This work of art by André Gisson could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Living With Art auction, the work At the beach, low tide changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 566.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Gisson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At The Carousel in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,842.14).
