In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work A busy street, Paris sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,410.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Gisson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At The Carousel, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,842.14).
