In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Nu au chien dans un paysage by André Derain. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,288.57), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Derain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arbres À Collioure in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 16,281,250.00 (€ 19,799,515.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nu au chien dans un paysage von André Derain zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.288,57) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Derain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arbres À Collioure im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.281.250,00 (€ 19.799.515,40).
