Admittedly, works by André Cottavoz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venise, Place San Marco, 1971 in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,000.00.

Die Arbeit "La fenêtre ouverte" von André Cottavoz wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Discoveries bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.580,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Cottavoz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venise, Place San Marco, 1971 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.000,00.
