In December 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain, which included the work Sans titre (bâton) by André Cadere. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 40,800.00 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by André Cadere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barre de bois rond A 00321040 in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 237,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre (bâton) von André Cadere zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 40.800,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Cadere auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barre de bois rond A 00321040 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 237.500,00.
