Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by André Butzer could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 38,100.00 (€ 35,997.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Butzer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chips und Pepsi und Medizin (Das Glück) in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 403,200.00 (€ 477,683.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Butzer konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 38.100,00 (€ 35.997,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Butzer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chips und Pepsi und Medizin (Das Glück) im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 403.200,00 (€ 477.683,10).
