Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work Grands cavaliers du soir by André Brasilier. The price achieved of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 187,626.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Brasilier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande chevauchée du lac en automne, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 457,029.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grands cavaliers du soir von André Brasilier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 187.626,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von André Brasilier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grande chevauchée du lac en automne beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 457.029,52) versteigert wurde.
