Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by André Beaurepaire was auctioned at Christies in Paris in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,008.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Beaurepaire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Projets de décors pour ''La Dame de Pique - Chambre de la Comptesse'', which sold at auction in April this year for EUR 2,520.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von André Beaurepaire kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.008,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von André Beaurepaire mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Projets de décors pour ''La Dame de Pique - Chambre de la Comptesse'' beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für EUR 2.520,00 versteigert wurde.
