It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,694.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by André Bauchant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festival Du Village in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 53,125.00 (€ 36,953.95).

Die Arbeit La fuite en Egypte von André Bauchant kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.694,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Bauchant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festival Du Village im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.125,00 (€ 36.953,95).
