The work "Kissing" by Anders Widoff was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021. It achieved a price of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,556.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Anders Widoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work from "Opera" Nr 3 in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 24,228.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Kissing" von Anders Widoff wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.556,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anders Widoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit from "Opera" Nr 3 im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 24.228,29).
