The »bidding war« ended at GBP 822.50 (€ 1,351.37), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Anders Osterlind have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,930.53) in January 2002 for the work La foret.
