Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Southern Italian Market Girl by Anatole Vély. The price achieved of GBP 1,434.00 (€ 2,089.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anatole Vély achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Meditation in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 31,368.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Southern Italian Market Girl von Anatole Vély zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.434,00 (€ 2.089,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anatole Vély erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Meditation im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.250,00 (€ 31.368,71).
