A top price for Amy Katherine Browning - as previously expected
In December 2002 Christies in London held the auction Twentieth Century British Art, which included the work The Glass Bowl by Amy Katherine Browning. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,246.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Glass Bowl is the most expensive artwork by Amy Katherine Browning that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Twentieth Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Glass Bowl von Amy Katherine Browning zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.246,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Glass Bowl das teuerste Kunstwerk von Amy Katherine Browning, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
