Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Red Banner' Commune, Threshing by Amshei Nurenberg was sold in the Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,697.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amshei Nurenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Houses in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,989.04).
