Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape With A Minaret by Amshei Nurenberg was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,420.77). Other works by Amshei Nurenberg have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2014 by the work Houses at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,989.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape With A Minaret von Amshei Nurenberg im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.420,77) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Amshei Nurenberg wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2014 die Arbeit Houses mit GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.989,04).
