Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, which included the work Moscow In Winter by Amshei Nurenberg. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,147.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Amshei Nurenberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Houses, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,989.04).
