Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online, which included the work Torso, Bronze, First Version (from the Torso Series), by Amalia de Schulthess. The price achieved of USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,802.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Amalia de Schulthess have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canto d'Estate No. II, Variation No. XVIIII in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,575.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torso, Bronze, First Version (from the Torso Series), von Amalia de Schulthess zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.802,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Amalia de Schulthess auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canto d'Estate No. II, Variation No. XVIIII im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.575,46).
