Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online, which included the work Snow People by Amalia de Schulthess. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,295.00 (€ 2,027.74). Admittedly, works by Amalia de Schulthess have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canto d'Estate No. II, Variation No. XVIIII in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,575.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Snow People von Amalia de Schulthess zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.295,00 (€ 2.027,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Amalia de Schulthess auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canto d'Estate No. II, Variation No. XVIIII im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.575,46).
