Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cavalier by Amadou Seck was sold in the African Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 3,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Amadou Seck have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work Dignitaire, 1980 was auctioned for EUR 5,460.00.
