Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,380.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amadeo Preziosi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 228,250.00.

Die Arbeit Femmes Orientales Et Vieil Homme Dans Un Intérieur von Amadeo Preziosi kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.380,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amadeo Preziosi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 228.250,00.
