Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction A Tribute to Symbolism, which included the work Lamentations by Alphonse Osbert. The price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alphonse Osbert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Evening'S Tranquility in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 52,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion A Tribute to Symbolism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lamentations von Alphonse Osbert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Osbert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Evening'S Tranquility im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.500,00.
